About Us
TMC is a warm, welcoming, and lively church, made up of many people from all sorts of backgrounds. You are most welcome to visit us. If you are not from a Methodist background, or have never been to a church before, don’t worry, there are plenty more like you already here. We want you to feel at home. And if you want to know more about Jesus we would be thrilled to help you.
We are quite a large church for a relatively small market town, with about two hundred people attending our Sunday morning worship at 10.30am. We are blessed with having a more or less even spread of people through all age groups: from toddlers to teens to twenty & thirty somethings, right through to the more mature! There are many activities for all age groups in addition to our Sunday worship, and you will find out more about all these by browsing the rest of our website.
We have a saying here: “Each one is special, accepted and loved”. Whoever you are, you are special and have something special to bring. Whether you are looking for a church, or simply visiting, you will find a welcome here. And through Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit, you will discover just how much you are loved.
